Dr. Lomonaco’s Holiday Challenge & The Paradoxical Commandments
Last month, we shared with you 3 Simple Steps For A Happier Holiday Season. The intention we set is key in how we view each moment. Remember, everything begins as a belief.
This season, I am going to be intentionally and purposefully practicing Dr. Kent M. Keith’s Paradoxical Commandments. Would you join me?
Let’s see what kind of difference it will make in our lives. I truly believe that it’s going to work so well, you’ll bring it along with you right into New Year!
The Paradoxical Commandments by Dr. Kent M. Keith
People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered. Love them anyway.
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. Do good anyway.
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway.
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable. Be honest and frank anyway.
The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds. Think big anyway.
People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs. Fight for a few underdogs anyway.
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway.
People really need help but may attack you if you do help them. Help people anyway.
Give the world the best you have and you’ll get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you have anyway.
So what do you say… up for the challenge?
I knew you would be! Print a couple copies of this. Hang it on your bathroom mirror and look at it when you get ready in the morning. Keep an extra copy in your purse or wallet. Whatever you do, the important part is to read it often enough that you’ll know how to react as situations arise.
From our family Lomonaco Family Chiropractic to yours, we wish you the happiest of holidays and a New Year of endless possibilities and everlasting changes!
With Appreciation,
